Valmont Bundle Margin — Privacy policy

Information used

We use the Shopify store domain, currency, development-store flag, app authorization session, product and variant identifiers, bundle recipes, titles, SKUs, catalog prices and component unit costs to provide read-only bundle margin monitoring. We do not request customer or order access. Shopify authentication may provide staff account identifiers and profile fields in the app session.

Monitoring and alerts

We store your margin settings, current and baseline bundle snapshots, monitoring findings and 30-day observations. If you opt into alerts, we store the address you provide, confirmation and suppression state, and email delivery records. Emails contain operational bundle findings and may contain product cost information. Confirm an address you control. You can disable alerts in the app or through the signed unsubscribe link.

Service providers

Railway hosts the app and PostgreSQL database. Shopify provides authentication, commerce data and native app billing. Resend delivers requested operational emails and provides signed delivery, bounce and complaint events. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Observations, scan history, audit and email delivery records are retained for 30 days during operation. Current snapshots, baselines and settings remain while installed. Authenticated uninstall and shop-redaction webhooks remove shop records and app sessions. Operational backups may retain deleted records until their normal expiration. Contact us to request access or deletion; we verify the requesting store.

Security and limitations

App access requires Shopify authentication. Credentials are stored in server-side secret configuration and are not included in browser code. Calculated margins are estimates based on recorded costs and do not establish actual profit.
